I'm Dr. Brittne. I was born in Flint, Michigan, and was the first DOCTOR and the only MD in the family. I graduated from medical school with $131,000 of student loan debt. During residency, I began to pursue financial education and improve my financial literacy. After graduating from residency in 2016 and 3 years of payments, my debt had grown to $135k! That's when I committed to paying off my student loans by refinancing my debt to reduce my interest. I began attacking debt, without sacrificing my JOY! I paid off $138k in student loan debt in less than 3 years, that's about $46k per year, all while traveling to India, Thailand, Hawaii, investing, and having my bundle of joy!
